The founding partners have over 80 years of combinedexperience working across sports and entertainment. They have worked with federations, venues, rights owners, media platforms, broadcasters, investors and brands to create and distribute sports content opportunities on a global basis.

Dominic Hayes

Dominic founded River Media Partners with Ben Nicholas in 2020. He was instrumental in the planning and operation of UK Pro League Tennis, bringing the season long tournament to venues around the country and establishing the broadcast and social media footprint and liaising with the player group and UK tennis stakeholders. He previously spent 8 years at Premiership Rugby, driving the rapid commercial growth of English Club Rugby ahead of his involvement in the ground-breaking Private Equity investment from CVC. Prior to that, Dominic spent 11 years at WWE, heading up the international business and overseeing the growth of WWE’s global business including TV, PPV and OTT.

Ben Nicholas

Ben spearheads RMP’s sales drive working closely with broadcast, OTT and data & streaming rights buyers on a global basis. Previously he spent 15 years as SVP and Head of UK Media and Global Digital at IMG and was the strategic lead for for content and distribution for clients including World Rugby, Scottish FA, ATP Media, US Tennis, Cricket South Africa, Rugby League, The FA, Cricket Australia, IOC, AELTC and the R&A.

Scott Watson

Scott Watson drove Premiership Rugby’s commercial partner programme working with brands such as Aviva, Jaguar Land Rover, Ricoh, Singha amongst others as well as onboarding Gallagher as title partners to the competition in 2018 from Aviva. Joining Umbro in January 2020, he led the brands reintroduction to international rugby via their partnership with England Rugby, Formula 1 with Williams Racing and managed relationships across the English Premier League.

Miles Watson

Miles Watson was a key and central acquisition executive for Perform’s (now STATS Perform) betting, data and content division from 2014 – 2018. In that time, he was able to develop a deep understanding of the betting market, from aggregator acquisition strategy to betting operator appetite. He has a track record of successfully driving rights proposals across football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, cricket and handball covering all tiers of rights holders and sporting federations.

Malcolm Wall

Malcolm Wall has worked across the media spectrum in the UK and overseas, actively involved in the business of sport from buying rights, developing pay and digital platforms and managing production units. He is Chairman of River Media Partners, Dock 10, Eagle Eye plc, Factory 42 and Harlequin Foundation.
