UK Pro League

River Media created and launched the UK Pro Series - now UK Pro League - the country’s first and only professional domestic competition for rising British players.

The inaugural, closed-door tournament was created to combat the lack of competitive opportunities due to the pandemic, and was first won by 2021 US Open champion Emma Raducanu and Liam Broady.

Broadcast on BT Sport, The Tennis Channel and ukproleague.tv the tournament has been the springboard for a remarkable resurgence in British Tennis with 20 UKPL players having reached career high rankings on the back of participation in the league.

Now welcoming spectators, its continued success has led to a working partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to develop the tournament as a key part of the British tennis calendar across the year.

The UK Pro League is the only domestic league for the top UK Tennis Professionals and is the only place where the group will come together to compete against each other in a season-long competition.

With prize money of £500K, the League provides the opportunity for the UK’s best to compete in a purely domestic format.

For the tennis fan this is a unique opportunity to get to know the characters that exist within the British game. With players from diverse backgrounds and with vastly differing styles and personalities, the competition creates a whole host of season-long rivalries.
